"My experience at WestWind has exceeded every expectation. Michelle's insightful teaching helped me to work through some really tough "roadblocks" in my riding, which, along with the mental and physical exercises she gave me to do at home, enabled me to make remarkable progress on my own between lessons. And, as an unexpected bonus, she paired me with a remarkable equine partner, Louis, who will be hitting the A circuit hunters with me next season! I think it's fair to say that coming to WestWind literally changed my riding life - and I can't wait to bring my other horse down to them this winter!"

At WestWind Farms, we know the importance of not only training horses, but training riders as well. Our year round lesson program is geared to personalized instruction in the development of the whole rider. We welcome all levels and ages from children to adults, beginners to competitive show riders. WestWind Farms works to build skills and confidence in every rider. All of our horses and ponies are safe, well groomed, and fully trained. They know and love their jobs!

We enjoy teaching the correct basics to give riders a good foundation for success. In addition to eventing and dressage, Michelle is also a very talented Hunter/Jumper coach. Many people appreciate Michelle’s eye for detail when it comes to correct equitation and rider effectiveness.

Lessons are 1 hour and are $50. For new riders, the initial lessons are $35 until you become experienced enough to do a bit more.
